About Susan
Having experience as a litigator, I understand the win/lose mentality of the courtroom. This led me to search for alternative methods for clients to resolve conflicts. As a mediator, my role is to assist individuals in resolving their disputes through constructive dialogue, promoting sustainable relationships for the future.
Attorney
I graduated from the University of Texas School of Law and am licensed to practice in Virginia and Washington, D.C. My experience as a litigator led me to seek alternative problem-solving methods.
Certified Mediator
Certified by the Virginia Supreme Court, I am approved to mediate in General District, Juvenile and Domestic Relations, and Circuit Courts. Since 2014, I have successfully mediated hundreds of cases as both a private and Court Appointed Mediator in Loudoun and Fairfax Courts.
Affiliations
I served on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Mediation Network, 2016-2018, and am a current member. I am also affiliated with the Academy of Professional Family Mediators and the Association of Conflict Resolution.
